apple mail app is worse by many other standards but i don't jive with gmail or trust any of the other "top 10 mail app recommendations" so i guess this is what i'm stuck with now

also the only reason i care about this is because the Logitech drivers pooped their pants in the middle of me using it for no reason, and even trying to re-install their app is no dice just infinite loading spinner.

ah well it's not like i use the trackpad much anyways

(the latter has some stutter problems for some reason, and the former does not, and i did not even need to look up keyboard controls for the former because everything "just worked" like i expected it to, so yeah no contest)
