Drove down to Iowa City this morning and noticed picketers outside the Emma Goldman Clinic. I drove to the bank and got cash out. As I left the clinic parking lot, I thanked the clinic escorts. I let the picketers know I donated on their behalf.

I have always thought about writing a semi-autobiography. My title, Overcoming Iowa. Honestly, it was about how much the University of Iowa has impacted my life and how deeply I support the Iowa Hawkeyes. Now, it’s more about getting thru to the other side of this hellscape that Iowa has become.

I have always used my name on social media platforms. To me, cowards hide behind handles. If I voice an opinion, I own it. Today, I sat thru a webinar on internet safety and identity theft. We give so much personal information away without thinking about it. Maybe a catchy handle is the way to go.
