It's completely disingenuous for Albanese to say that the government has no power to stop algal blooms. No more fossil fuel mines, stop logging and land clearing, invest in renewables and a degrowth economy. There's lots.

Albo, you are sooooooo disappointing. Too little, so late.

Australia's mealy mouthed response to Gaza is reflective of our own undealt with history. A settler colonialist country that dehumanised and massacred the Indigenous population is going to find it hard to criticise an ethnostate perpetuating a genocide.

Your rights are being eroded so Israel can commit genocide without criticism  - The Shot
Across the Western world, criticising Israel's genocide in Palestine is being stamped down. News laws and a culture of fear make it hard.

Australian educators.
Are we going to organise before the fascists try to take over?
We need a strategy, shared purpose, and devise multiple acts of resistance.
Remember, they come for the critical thinkers first.

This has always been my worst fear about climate change: the worse it gets, the more geopolitical chaos it causes; the more geopolitical chaos there is, the harder it is to cooperate to fight climate change.
