Posts about Nintendo Music constantly. Loves VGM in general, Mario Kart, puzzle games, mystery narratives, and the occasional RPG. He/Him

Had to remove it temporarily since I wanted to change some effects (mainly adding a nifty one that makes music notes appear around it).

New code is M5V61S1B.

Yep, it's a redirect to the original Metroid Prime soundtrack that was available at launch (the redirect was added in December 2024)

These notifications tend to occur if you play a game that has its soundtrack on Nintendo Music (in this case, you presumably played Metroid Prime Remastered recently)

Yoshi's Story was the last game to update this playlist so hopefully next time that happens they notice this and fix it.

If I were them I'd add Mario Kart: Super Circuit and get this fixed up lickety-split tbh... (I've been really wanting it lately since it'd probably be uncompressed).

Also, Luigi's Mansion finally has the "Go to here for more information about this game." button.

You should look into the Pilotwings soundtracks if you haven't already, some tunes should definitely fit this like Pilotwings Resort's "Staff Credits" and the ever-popular "Birdman" from Pilotwings 64.

"The Shape of a Heart" from Kirby Star Allies might be a good fit too.

This sentiment doesn't really work when the last DS and Game Boy games were added less than a month ago lol

Need this game on Nintendo Music so bad, the arrangements are so good.

"Anarchy Splatcast (Splatfest)" is just the Splatune3 version but with the drumbeat cut out and with a fade-out, so why the inconsistency? I'm not very familiar with music engineering but I can't imagine they increased the sample rate by accident?

I'll always be fascinated by this stuff lol (3/3)

"Anarchy Rainbow" keeping the 44.1kHz sample rate while "Anarchy Splatcast (Splatfest)" is 48kHz is so interesting to me.

There's similar inconsistencies with Kirby and the Forgotten Land and the Super Mario Galaxy games, not to mention the weirdness with Donkey Kong Country 2. (2/3)

You could probably make a movie outta that tbh

Something really strange I noticed earlier (I check each region's post) is that while the North American version of the post does have a screenshot to represent the game unlike the European post... it's of the European title screen?

So bizarre.
