Seeing people create all these crazy intricate machine designs in Kirby Air Riders meanwhile I struggled to just make this lol (it also took 17 decals, the maximum being 20).

Something else I just noticed is that, as of these updates, every game on Nintendo Music which is playable on Switch or Switch 2 now uses "Go here for information on this game."

Previously, most games added prior to the Nintendo Switch 2's release used "Available on the Nintendo Switch system".

I kid you not I must've told support about this like a dozen times lmao, can't believe they finally listened.

Something really strange I noticed earlier (I check each region's post) is that while the North American version of the post does have a screenshot to represent the game unlike the European post... it's of the European title screen?

So bizarre.
Art Academy: Home Studio as seen in today's Nintendo365 post on the Nintendo Today! app. The title screen is that of the European version of the game, as evidenced by the title being shown as "Art Academy: Atelier".

Finally I can demonstrate the spike in playtime Mario Kart 8 Deluxe got when the music player was added vs. the drop-off after Nintendo Music released lmao
My play activity for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe between November 2nd 2023 and November 14th 2023, as seen on the Nintendo Store app. The amount of hours played per day increased dramatically around the release of Wave 6 of the Booster Course Pass DLC on November 9th, which added a music player to the game. My play activity for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe between October 16th 2024 and December 27th 2024, as seen on the Nintendo Store app. The amount of hours played per day decreased dramatically, and with much longer gaps between sessions, around the release of the Nintendo Music app on October 31st, which included the soundtrack to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at launch.

There is now an in-app news post about the new hourly tracks feature in Nintendo Music's 1.4.0 update.
A news post titled "Play hourly tracks with Animal Crossing: New Horizons!" on Nintendo Music, which reads: "Nintendo Music Ver.1.4.0 has been released. Details ■ An hourly-track feature has been added. The hourly-track feature allows Animal Crossing: New Horizons tracks to match the current time, so you can enjoy them throughout your day. The playlists A Sunny Day, A Rainy Day, and A Snowy Day all feature tracks for each of the day's 24 hours. When you tap Play hourly tracks, the tracks will be set to match the current time and the extended-playback feature will activate. Notes ・ After updating to Ver.1.4.0, it may take some time before this feature is available. ・ The tracks being played may not match the current time exactly. ■ We have addressed some issues to provide a better user experience."

Pressing this option will have it play the track for the current hour and match its length to the amount of time left within said hour, so that it seamlessly switches from hour to hour.
The track "2.0.0 AM - Rainy" from Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Music, playing in the official "A Rainy Day" playlist. There's a note at the bottom regarding the playback being set to match the current time, in this case 2:55 AM. The song's length has accordingly been set to 4 minutes and 43 seconds.
