What framing! 'Israeli hostages', which is correct, vs 'Palestinian prisoners'. At July 2024, there were 9,623 Palestinians imprisoned by the state of Israel, of whom 4,781 were in 'administrative detention'. 'Administrative detention' is the indefinite incarceration without charge, aka, a hostage
Leaders around the world welcomed the agreement between Israel and Hamas to exchange Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners, with many describing it as a rare moment of hope after two years of a war that has exacted a devastating toll.

1/2 bit.ly/46U5qEa Apparently, the home sec. thinks a police inspector being able to stop protests for 'reasons' isn't enough power. The poor, 'exhausted' police should also be able to stop 'repeat' protests as they are so, so tired doing the job they signed up to do....
UK police to be given greater powers to restrict protests following further London demos
Police are to be given greater powers to restrict protests by allowing them to consider the “cumulative impact” of repeated demonstrations. The measures follow frequent pro-Palestinian demonstrations including an event in London on Saturday which saw almost 500 arrests. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said repeated large-scale protests had caused “considerable fear” for the Jewish community. The Government will amend Sections 12 and 14 of the Public Order Act 1986 to explicitly allow the police to take account of the cumulative impact of frequent protests on local areas in order to impose conditions on public processions and assemblies. The Home Secretary will also review existing legislation to ensure powers are sufficient and are being applied consistently by police forces – this will include powers to ban protests outright.
