Nixon tried to hide his underlings' illegal activities, and was forced to resign for it. Trump is literally ordering the government to make multi-million-dollar payouts to himself and others who broke the law for him, as "recompense" for their troubles.

This is beyond conflict of interest. It's open, brazen, billion-dollar corruption of the most blatant sort. The kind that would make a Third World dictator blush - or turn green with envy. And nary a peep from anyone in DC.

Our deranged leadership will continue to spit out bizarre policy, because narcissists can't accept reality. Never being wrong inevitably leads to weird command decisions and inability to learn from your mistakes.

The idea that we have all the advanced tech and medicine, and still can't say whether fever is good or bad, is a cool reminder of how massively complex the human body is.

The guy convicted of felonies and rape? Let's put him in charge of all law enforcement.
What could go wrong?

Not saying it's good or bad. It is some sort of defence process, disarming it just because we can violates "Chesterson's fence" .
I find this intriguing because society and medicine have embraced this myth, and we cannot even say if antipyretics have any effect on outcome.

If that was true, it would be easy to prove.
The lack of confirmation speaks volumes.

Doubt it, been an ER doctor for 25 years and have yet to see any temperature injuries that were not environmentall or drug induced.
