Oslofjorden er i krise. 🚨
Fjorden er full av plast fra biltrafikk og kunstgressbaner, samtidig som regjeringen kutter i støtten til å bekjempe plastforurensningen.
Vi i MDG ønsker å tredoble støtten for å bekjempe plastforurensningen og gjøre fjorden levedyktig igjen. 💚🐟
Opptil 3% av Oslofjorden er nå mikroplast. Dette er krise. Dette kan vi gjøre for å unngå at det blir verre. (Pil til neste side) 1. Redusere biltrafikken, fordi bildekk er hovedkilden til mikroplasten. MDG vil droppe nye store motorveier rundt Oslo og heller prioritere kollektiv-transport. Vi vil ha lavere priser, flere ekspressbusser og økt togkapasitet. 2. Samle opp mikroplast og annen forurensing fra veiene. Her må det investeres i infrastruktur langs veibaner for å hindre at plasten havner i naturen. 3. Stopp plastforurensning fra kunstgressbaner. Kunstgress er den nest største kilden til mikroplast i fjorden, etter bildekk. Vi vil øke den statlige støtten slik at utslippene kan kuttes raskere. 4. Styrk innsatsen mot marin forsøpling. Regjeringen har kuttet i støtten for å bekjempe plastforurensning, fra 70 millioner i 2021 til 27 millioner i 2026. Vi vil tredoble innsatsen for å beskytte havet og kysten.

My statement on the two year anniversary of October 7, 2023.
“Two years ago today, Hamas carried out a horrific war crime, killing more than 1,100 Israelis and kidnapping 250 more. I mourn these lives and pray for the safe return of every hostage still held and for every family whose lives were torn apart by these atrocities. In the aftermath of that day, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government launched a genocidal war: adeath toll that now far exceeds 67,000; with the Israeli military bombing homes, hospitals, and schools into rubble. Every day in Gaza has become a place where grief itself has run out of language. I mourn these lives and pray for the families that have been shattered. Our government has been complicit through it all. This must end. The occupation and apartheid must end. Peace must be pursued through diplomacy, not war crimes, and our government must act to end these atrocities and hold those responsible to account. These last two years have demonstrated the very worst of humanity. We must answer it by modeling the very best: a relentless pursuit of our higher ideals and an unwavering commitment to universal human rights.”
