📼 no. 10: Lisa Frankenstein.

Score one for the monster fuckers! Oozing with 80's vibes and... actual ooze, we get a vibrant revenge story through nostalgic tinted glasses. Some of the acting is a little off, and has more than a few WTF moments but still a fun watch.

📼 no. 9: The Pyramid.

Putting the Mid, back in Pyramid. Semi-found footage horror that had some really cool ideas and a promising setting should have made for a great time, but most of the characters being unlikable, and ps2 graphic cgi monsters really hold the whole thing back.

📼 no. 8: The Monkey.

Holy shit. So, I had zero interest in this initially due to the tone of the trailers. This is hands down one of the best dark comedy horrors I've ever seen. Over the top, elaborate death scenes with cinematography by the same director of Longlegs was a perfect blend.

📼 no. 7: Paranorman.

Fully stop motion with lots of heart. One of the rare kids horror movies that balances the dark atmosphere without being too tame. Great characters, style and a great message. Will be watching again very soon.

📼 no. 6: The Dead Don't Die.

Oh wow. Ok. So this one started promising then really started to lose steam for me. Lots of 4th wall breaking and just wanting to be a Wes Anderson movie so badly. However, Adam Driver and Tilda Swinton were hilarious and worth the watch.

📼 no. 5: Longlegs.

Another solid banger. Super creepy and tense with a healthy dose of the supernatural. I was always looking for little things in the background. Satanic glam rock Nic Cage silences the lambs all over Ft. Langley.

Not 🎃nce, not 🎃🎃ice, but as many 🎃's, as he liiiikes!

📼 no.4: The Lighthouse.

I'm kinda surprised it took me this long to watch this one.

Another fantastic, dark, and stunning descent into madness by Eggers that leaves you questioning what truly is real and what is a nautical nightmare.

Just like his lobster, I was quite fond of this one.

📼 no. 3: Nosferatu

This remake, loosely based off of the literary classic Scott Pilgrim, is a treat for those who not only want to see vampire dong but to witness it in action.

Joking aside, cinematography was beautiful, gothic, and macabre. Much more of a slow burn but never felt too long.

📼 no. 2: The Last Voyage of the Demeter.

I remember seeing this trailer with the slowed down "the world is a vampire" Smashing Pumpkins sting and never paid it much mind.
Decently fun movie that takes inspiration from the captain's log portion of the original Dracula novel. No vamp dong sadly

📼 no. 1: M3gan.

Honestly. A lot more fun than I expected. It felt like neat little callback to the slasher movies like Child's Play, and other murderous toy plots but with a fun furby angle.

Pretty stoked for the second one where she's a superhero or something.

Both are pretty amazing. However, I found that the 24-70 is much more versatile. The 70-200 is a beast and is a great piece of glass, but I usually switch back to the 24 after a few shots with the 70.

I can post example photos from both lenses on the same body if that helps?
