Their six year old daughter witnessed her father shooting her mother. Nearly 100 years later, this story still repeats. Women still die by the hands of their domestic intimate partners. And insult to injury: 1) Her name is *never* printed in all the articles about the incident, but her murder's is;

Oshkosh NGDV (next generation delivery vehicle) looks like this because the USPS contract mandated that the cabin must be tall enough for a 95th percentile male (6'2) to stand up but low enough for a 5th percentile female (4'11) to see over the hood. Postal workers call it a duck-mobile.

I have finished the thing. Binding all hand sewn since the machine went on the fritz and deadlines were looming. I'm still such a novice, but my heart is in the right place. There is some warble and wonk to edges, but straighter than previous projects. I consider it a win. #quilting #sewing
