in the past ive compared it to a comic book/fantasy/scifi fandom. sure, in the dc comics chat we can get into the varied details of the post-crisis/absolute dc dichotomy but if i start shouting about the red/blue superman and jason todd coming back to life on the subway i look unhinged.

Only lasted about three hands. Lockout format button pays ante, players can only fold or call until it gets around to button then it pops off. I called w AA884 double suited ♦️♣️, SB raised BB calls, shorter stack UTG all in, I’m all in. Blinds call. Flop’s all ♠️, UTG gets royal, BB has set.

Got to break without participating in a hand. There are some serious stacks at the table; I’ve got starting 25K!

Went out 4 from the money. Very short after the second break, managed to nurse a <10bb stack on a 6-handed table for 45 minutes, but I was the first player out after break in 12th.

Payouts are up. We’re down to 26 players, avg 66K. My stack’s about 90K

It was rough for a bit, I was down below half starting stack, but a nut flush came in on the river with 4 players in and I knocked out the other 3 so now I’ve got 3x starting.

The guy next to Adolf is the US Supreme Court Chief Justice.

Bad bad night. Seat 9 at my table was running like god, I think he’d knocked out a majority of the players who’d been eliminated.
