Goodbye James Earl Jones. A titan. On a personal level, the few years when I was writing Vader, I spent every day writing and then judging the words' merit on whether I could imagine his voice possessing them. Yes, I was writing for Vader as a character, but I was writing for him as an actor.

It's been over two years since the massacre in Uvalde and not a single cop has tried to regain their honor. In fact, they've been harassing bereaved parents instead. Can't reform this.

25 years ago today, Bishoujo Senshi Translations released the English fan translation for Sailor Moon RPG (Sailor Moon: Another Story) for the SNES 🎂🥳🎉

This game is overflowing with fan service! It was the third SNES RPG ever to be fan translated, after Final Fantasy 5 and Magic Knight Rayearth.

My partner, screaming, tears streaming down face: we can’t fit any more books in this apartment. They’ve taken over the dining table. You haven’t even read most of these!

Me, at a stoop looking at a free book about narratives of mental illness in early modern Europe: hmm, interesting…
