Okay so I can’t see OP but sitting has major safety issues—people have been trampled by police horses in the last few years, there’s also less visibility for people trying to help you, and it’s easier to run people over if they’re seated vs already standing and can run away

You don’t sit. You’re at the level of the bullets. You will hurt people like that.

Yes, protests can be dangerous, and you have to brace for that. There's a difference between acknowledging and preparing for the risks, and deliberately running into a meat grinder because you think that makes for good optics. It doesn't work in real life like you think it does from watching videos.

You have a large crowd who's never been tear gassed or assaulted. It's scary. Tear gas blinds and asphyxiates. You can't inhale. Sitting means more people trampled and tripped over as people try to get away, *on top* of increased risk of a head injury from being shot, and more arrests. Stop talking.
