I'm re-reading Maul: Lockdown (not my favorite Maul story but I really wanted a refresher on his relationship with Eogan Truax) and this line hit me like a punch to the gut

Context: He's getting the crap beat out of him and it suddenly occurs to him that he's going to die in the next five seconds

I wonder if we could get a scene like this in Maul: Shadow Lord, between Maul and his apprentice. Admittedly, "So, how'd that happen anyway?" is a bit of an indelicate question, but I'd still like to hear Maul answer it. I'm curious how he would tell his own story.
