I remember Strangeloop being a nightmare to load from a 10 Computer Hits compilation. On the odd occasion it did load, I had no idea what I was doing, gave up and played Project Future instead.

We literally live on Station Road, and have electric trains thundering past 200 metres away, but our nearest station is 9 miles away, and the smelly diesel buses don't get you to town early enough if you need to commute. There's not many EVs in the village but we just bought a Kona EV.

Our school had CPC 6128s - with BBC Basic. Cheapskates.

I actually had some fun playing the Spectrum version on a 48K machine with a mate. One session was enough, though, and I've never felt compelled to have a proper go on Mame or Megadrive.

Consumer unit or internal fuses more likely to trip/blow I think. Last one in plug I remember blowing was on an incandescent lamp decades ago. We're also using fewer devices running on AC, rather than via a transformer.

I'll take a strimmer as my barnet is getting more like weeds springing up at the edges of the patio these days. I'm overcompensating by growing my beard as long as humanly possible.

On a Saturday?! Hope you got tomorrow off to recover. And make some more videos.

They need to have a transparent tier and a C64 core...

Maybe start with 50 or so, to be on the safe side. Also, what's the total carbon footprint of blowing up a block of flats with ballistic missiles in units of AC?

I need to get my Vic20, Penultimate cart and PI1541 set back up. Also need to have another crack at reviving the very poorly Vic20. C64s and Atari 800 need an outing - it's been very Speccy-themed around here lately.

Updated my router to OpenWRT 25.10.2, which seems to have fixed a WiFi issue, sorted out TAPs on my TheSpectrum and ESPectrum, and played Spectipede on both of them.

Always amused me to see an advert for a game right next to the review that was slating in it.

I want one that looks like a normal pen, but it writes the current time out. It could do the football scores, too, like a futuristic teleprinter.

Hot Ones will be better off without em I reckon.

Best controller overall is rubber-keyed Spectrum using 56780 or QAOPM depending on game. For joysticks, it's got to be a proper arcade fight stick. Mine can remap up/down to buttons, 8 speed rapid fire, 8 speed autowaggle, and has side buttons for pinball.
