Current read off my humongous backlog is this one. I was literally a baby when this happened and have only gathered bits and pieces of it, mostly from the last few years.

1. It really was bad, damn. The sexism, the racism.
2. Clarence Thomas really just has always sucked shit.

Morning boost, this need still isn't met. Fernando is diabetic and needs insulin, on top of other chronic health issues. Homelessness would be dangerous if not fatal. Total that needs to be met is $1047

"Bite The Hand That Does Not Feed"

I think the powers that be should keep people fed. If they don't, they shouldn't be surprised if we bite back.

Mixed media on paper, Nov 2025.

It's my turn with the newest graphic novel from @keezyyoung.bsky.social ! I would say I'm.... Enjoying it but that isn't the right word considering the theme. Invested? Yeah I wanna know WHAT is going ON.

STUNNIN'

It reminds me of lace. Or maybe like, feathers?

Quite a large fellow and needs some edges worn down still. But the colors are gorgie gorgie.

My perpetual stage 1 barrel also has some promising friends in it.

Adding alt text to these is hard! I'll give it my best shot though.

Some absolute stunners (IMO) are heading into pre-polish stage today, I'm going to add a few close ups I took as I have time today

Reading a book called, "Botanical Revolutions: How Plants Changed the Course of Art" by Giovanni Aloi and idk why this part is cracking me up.

Another batch done! They aren't 100% perfect but I still like seeing how they turn out, even the "failed" ones.

I'm currently reading, "Red Flag Warning: Mutual Aid and Survival in California's Fire Country"

These words from an interview with Kailea Loften just really struck a chord with me.

Maybe I'm late to this one? But I just finished the audiobook version of this book, and found it asked some really great and tough questions. If other white folks are looking to do the work, this is a great option.
