Been in Seattle, WA for 19 years.
Transit Operator for a quite a bit less than that.
I barely speak for myself, I definitely don't speak for my employer.
Thank you.

(I have stealth ways to do the same while driving the bus.)

It’s such a surreal experience riding a bus after unlocking a new skill: operating a bus. I appreciate it much more and at the same time am harder and more annoyed by the idiotic shit.

Will try to make note of this tomorrow.

Funny thing is… the artics in most situations are more maneuverable.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who live in cities and hate everything about living in a city.

Those are donor coaches for the new ESS upgrade. They’ve been there for a long time without the electrical box on the roof. They’re having to rebuild the electrical switching system, so they’ve taken those out of service to have electrical units to rotate through rebuilding.

Now I just need to do poke around getting the old school 14 back for Pi Day, since it'll now be a 3 interlined to a 14.

They were crappy buses!

Or this one: a monolingual Anglophone nurse hears a patient speaking unintelligibly, assume it's delirium, until an L2 English speaking nurse recognises the language. The dying person isn't babbling; they've reverted to a mother tongue at the end of life.
