I 100% agree it would be great to not even have large parking lots at schools and have kids/adults be able to bike, walk, and take public transit most places. But this is a great way to make lemonade out of lemons. We can’t be cranks about every damn thing.

For a second I thought that was arm hair and a very powerful magnification. This is much cooler and less unsettling.

Even worse is the number of people commuting on cheap full suspension mountain bikes. If people just had the information and option for bikes that actually serve their needs, their riding would be so much more enjoyable!

What species are you hearing in Philly? Mostly Big Browns? When I was a kid in Frankford (Northest Philly) we would throw small rocks into the air and bats would catch them.

I will say I ride super defensive and my head on a swizzle and have avoided any major crashes. One:everyone I know that’s been hit by a car, the car was unpredictable. So I’ve just been lucky. Two: who wants every ride to put you in fight or flight mode? It’s not skill level, it’s infrastructure.
