With the Affordable Care Act and SNAP in peril I remember 47 staring that Stephen Miller would like to see our population at 100 million. Is this the plan? Deprive millions of health care and food to decrease the population? It’s not just cruel it’s sick!

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

I am begging the mainstream media to talk less about the East Wing & more about the loss of SNAP funding for the next few days.
The East Wing is gone. We can’t change that.
We *can* help people prepare for the loss of SNAP.
We can urge folks to donate to food banks.
