Fish man, sea devil, or ‘sahuagin’ as they’re called in D&D. I didn’t use any reference, but I was thinking about the time one of my characters got eaten by fish men in a gamebook I played a few years ago. Memorably haunting.

I bought a few of those tiny (~2.5 inch square) sketchbooks. I’ve been drawing little video-gamey, digi-poké-inspired monsters for fun. So far, this guy’s my favorite so I wanted to share. #art

For many, crawling the dungeon is due to desperation rather than heroics.

It has been a couple months since I got my digital drawing tablet, but I have little to show for it except maybe some Artwod lessons done.
I’ll be posting a few past drawings/doodles here and there that, for whatever reasons, didn’t make it to my Side7 gallery.

I just tonight started playing this #gamebook by Chris Scaffidi:
What Lies Beneath.

The writing is classic gamebook prose that reminds me of Tunnels and Trolls.
The mechanics involve little mini games for ability checks that are surprisingly immersive. I can’t wait to do more delving into this one!

Two adapters later so it will work on my 15+ year old computer, I got my Wacom tablet going. This is the first time I’ve ever used a drawing tablet or really have done much with digital art (save for some pixel art.)
