Fish man, sea devil, or ‘sahuagin’ as they’re called in D&D. I didn’t use any reference, but I was thinking about the time one of my characters got eaten by fish men in a gamebook I played a few years ago. Memorably haunting.

I've been feeling very burnt out and I feel like I just straight up forgot how to draw and paint. I'm currently doing some contract work, so it would be nice to find a way to at least improve that a bit.

What Lies Beneath.
The writing is classic gamebook prose that reminds me of Tunnels and Trolls.
The mechanics involve little mini games for ability checks that are surprisingly immersive. I can’t wait to do more delving into this one!
