...but citing presedent, constitution schmontitution
November 13, 2025 at 2:40 AM
No recall for federal offices. Would need a constitutional amendment.

Shouldn't be a max either. No max on donations no max on penalties. Let's actually stop these violations. Some of the money could go to training resources for campaigns.

I've written my state legislators (Dibble & Long) about this. Have not received a reply.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The penalties should be a percentage of money raised. Non of these slap on the wrists for big guys and bankruptcy for the little ones.

Remember that MAC publishes their 6 year CIP publically. This facility has been on it for a while. Just boring CBP airport stuff
November 12, 2025 at 3:17 AM
What a lovely idea. Maybe something food shelf adjacent? Hospital/elder care?
November 12, 2025 at 3:14 AM
This has been on the CIP for a long time. Holman gets international flights and the passengers need to go through customs and the employees need a office. I know people are on edge right now, but not everything is part of the MAGA machine. Sometimes it's just standard boring CBP stuff.

Trash cans also induce trash. Drive thrus induce car use. Coats induce cold weather.

Are we sure Palmisano knows how to campaign anymore?
November 11, 2025 at 12:51 AM
So does Frey, but you have to start somewhere.
November 11, 2025 at 12:32 AM
we need to keep working him on unseating Palmisano.

I'm sure glad we spent 2 days dunking on each other though. Real good for party unity.
November 10, 2025 at 11:10 PM
probably because of the scope and context it has to save

I guess I thought it'd have two edges one in each direction, but this might confuse people further since you're not showing STV transferrence, just comparisons. Feel free to scrap this. I think I convinced myself it wasn't a good idea.

I guess it'd be a directed graph where the nodes are candidates and the edges would be labeled with how many ballots where the voter preferred one person over another with the arrow pointing to the person they preferred less.
November 9, 2025 at 11:07 PM
I think the ">" is slightly confusing. Would be better if it just said "A ranked above B"

A higher rank is a lower number. IDK.

I guess I'd prefer a visualizable graph format, but don't know if that's as easy to make.

This is also why people speed and run red lights. They think that the law is harm reduction and as long as they aren't harming anyone the law doesn't apply. Tell that to the pedestrians and bikers who we've lost.
