This oversimplification and obfuscation of Nazi war aims, and alignment with Nazi propaganda is genuinely shocking. We have a colossal body of history that explores the actual motivations and aims of Nazi Germany, why do we have to teach the war aims Goebbels promulgated?

The glaring omission of unionist, socialist and communist resistance to Nazi Germany is troubling. The reasons for their resistance and the targeting of these groups was part of the foundation of the Nazi project, to ignore that speaks volumes about the intention of this curriculum!

Linking persecution of Jews "and other minorities" in Nazi Germany to earlier pogroms in Europe is misleading. The motivations for earlier pogroms and the motivations for Nazi persecution are distinct and while connections can be drawn/examined in such a rushed schedule of work they should not be

Bear in mind this is one point across hundreds that is supposed to be delivered in 480 hours. Linking the Treaty of Versailles to German economic woes is a Nazi talking point. German economic policy and response to ToV were far more impactful than ToV itself
