I like EVs.

It cheers me up to see that EVs make up a rising percentage of vehicles on the road in the same way I like to see more solar panels on buildings.

We are moving toward a better Star Trek inspired future.

And EVs don't stink.

Honourable Premier Danielle Smith

I want you to stop wasting our time and our money promoting and pursuing the separation of Alberta from Canada. There are more important and valuable issues to address.

High five's all around to everyone who voted in the federal election!

Extra fist bumps to everyone who looked at party policy and voted for their own interests rather than against them!

Good job!

There are a lot of things to worry about: affordability of housing and necessities, attacks on individual human right to be themselves, natural disasters due to climate change...

Good news for Canadians, on April 28, there is an opportunity to make a big impact on these problems. #cdnpoli

Even if the candidate you want to vote for will not win due to the choices of your neighbours, it is still important to vote. The parties do not get to know who you voted for, but they do get to know you voted.

As Canada has a First Past The Post election system, it can be useful to know how votes are shaping up in your area.

Several candidates may be acceptable to you and others are not. Being strategic in your vote is sometimes the best way to protect your interests.

If anyone here is still using Facebook (and Messenger, Whatsapp, Instagram, Threads, Oculus, and Meta app...) and feels trapped in their network effect, I am here to remind you that just because all your friends are in hell doesn't mean you should stay there with them.

You can lead them out.

I don't know Mr. Poilievre but I think the leader of our country should be following the wishes and acting in the interest of all Canadians. Since the majority of Canadians see the value in the CBC and want to keep it, I think it shows poor leadership, unsuitable for a would-be prime minister.

The price of eggs in the US is up due to culling egg-laying hens because of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza. The US administration is trying to lower egg prices by importing eggs. Canada is not one of the countries they have approached. Nor is Mexico.

Some further thoughts.

I would like to revise what I have written but writing here is like using a permanent marker on a post-it note. It's not good for reflection or nuance. A grain of salt and spoonful of sugar may be necessary to appreciate what is written. No insult is intended. I mean #unity.
