My hope is that congress can come together and compromise on a plan to resume funding for important programs like Snap and Head Start that mean so much to these families so that the children can get what they need not only to survive, but thrive. They deserve it.

More importantly, our children would not be able to keep their routines, their connections made in school, the promise of being provided breakfast and lunch, a safe space to play and nap, or continue to learn in this environment.

We are so lucky that our state was able to keep us open for one more month while Republicans and Democrats in congress play keep-away with our resources. Had we been in another state, I would not have the opportunity to keep working. Our families wouldn't have us as a resource.

Partner solved it!! So now I have a bunch of old consoles to play. Also realized we have 2 ps2s (slim and regular haha). Perhaps in that case we could consolidate to one and leave a space on the splitter for a new vintage console? 😆

Also, this is just his travel cup. He has a 5gal tank already set up at the school. A nice stone castle, some water plants, a filter with treated water, and a heater. He is well taken care of!

My dream is to find an old tv-vhs-dvd player combo so I can use the hookups on that. Flat screens are ok but I want to play these games the way they were meant to be played with the old style televisions lol.

Cool resource! I did get an old TV from goodwill that still has old hookups and I do have an old vhs player that has some, too. Once I get my stuff in the mail I will have to see how it all works out before thinking about upgrades.
