In London on vacation, so have come to the small No Tyrants protest at the American Embassy. Hadn’t started yet, so the crowd could grow.

500 or so energized people turned out for an Indivisible rally at First Parish Church in Concord, MA, this morning, featuring Leah Greenberg, local leaders, & enthusiastic musicians. A few photos. @maddow.msnbc.com

Pictures from DC: 24-hr day RT from Boston via bus. Tired, but worth it! Felt almost festive: had the vibe of diverse people coming together to form a supportive community. Also, it was Sikh National / Baisakhi Day, so there was a march on Constitution Ave promoting a Sikh homeland called Khalistan.

Good turnout with high energy for #StandupforScience in Boston. Sharing two fun signs: an addition to the periodic table and a case for investing in parasite research. The crowd was younger & more diverse than the 50501 rallies & included calls for our leading universities & hospitals to speak up.

My contribution for WWD: female and infant Tibetan macaques at Mt. Emei in Sichuan province, China. They are in their natural habitat, but line the steps to the summit and temple to get handouts from the visitors--and to sit for tourists' photos.

This Pale-Mandibled Aracari was solo and behaving when spotted near our lodge in Ecuador. I couldn't believe I actually got the photo, since the bird was perched at the far edge of the zoom range. Not bad for a Lumix FZ150!
