Luke Molyneux probably best player in L2 last season. 16 goals and 12 assists in their promotion campaign. Plays on right wing, cuts inside and gets shots off on left foot. Not shy to shoot. See last season's shot map below.

Amario Cozier-Duberry, 20 y/o on loan from Brighton, has massively caught the eye this season. Quick, skilful. Plays on right wing, cuts in & gets shots off on his left (22 shots, joint 2nd most in L1). One to watch. Might be a game for Ogs at LCB with his pace & 1v1 defending.

But Notts' biggest threat is David McGoldrick. 37 years old but technically far above this level. 2nd highest in L2 for shots and shots on target per 90. Has 7 goals from outside the box this season (highest in L2). Look at that shot map. Will need to watch him (obviously).

Doncaster may have the best attacking options in L2. Luke Molyneux arguably L2's best player (13 goals - see shot map, 10 assists). Three excellent CF options - Billy Sharp, Rob Street, Joe Ironside. Jordan Gibson (5 goals, 7 assists), Harry Clifton and Joe Sbarra other threats.

Taylor Allen, usually playing left centre back, has a frankly absurd 7 goals and 7 assists this season. As well as brilliant set piece deliveries, also a shooting threat from long range and even scored direct from a corner. His shot map below.

Barrow have a couple of decent central midfielders in Robbie Gotts and Kian Spence. Spence absolutely loves a long range shot (see below). His 69 shots more than any Wimbledon player apart from Stevens.

Barrow are in decent form. 2 wins and a draw from their last 3 games.

They drew 2-2 at Morecambe last time out. Not that impressive but LOOK AT THAT SHOT MAP (in blue). 26 shots, 11 on target, 7 big chances (5 missed), 4.17 xG. May think they are due a few more goals soon.

Two Cheltenham players have scored 4 each from outside the box. All 4 of Luke Young's goals from outside box (from a combined xG of 0.12). See shot map below (the football symbols are the goals). 4 of Ethon Archer's 6 goals also from outside the box.

Michael Cheek is their top scorer by a distance. 16 goals, joint top in L2 with Matty Stevens. Cheek is a really sharp finisher in the box. His shot map - mostly between the width of the posts - not dissimilar to Stevens. Cheek on the left below, Stevens on the right.

Last night aside, clear we haven't scored loads of goals recently. Blue line below shows goals per game over season. Dropped from about 1.7 per game 10 games ago to around 1.4 before the Crewe game. Scored only 9 in 10 games before Crewe BUT picked up 19 points in those games.

James Tilley. Started season out of the team and with some doubts over his role. But made that left wing back spot his own. Table shows where he ranks for various creativity metrics - top ranked Dons player across the board and also right up with best in L2 on most measures.

First on Owen Goodman. We know that our excellent defensive stats (most clean sheets, fewest goals conceded) are down to the whole team, but Goodman's shot stopping stats also v. impressive. Second highest save % in L2 (behind Bass) and leads the way on the goals prevented stat.

Big fan of Matty Stevens' shot map this season (via FotMob). 35 shots, every one from inside the penalty area. No messing around with trying his luck outside the box.

So Walsall - a very good football team. But Wimbledon aren't bad either. Look at how we compare on attacking and defensive stats below (up to Accrington game). Yes, Accy game wasn't great, but we should be a lot stronger with Lewis, Hippolyte and Bugiel all hopefully back.
