What's occurring at IU's Jewish Studies is a shanda! The chancellor and the interim director are trying to "save" the program by ripping it apart through deceit and by disregarding academic freedom & integrity. (The story doesn't capture everything.) This is happening not just in Jewish Studies.
In Indiana, a vaunted Jewish studies program is upended by red-state politics over Israel and speech - Jewish Telegraphic Agency
A leadership shakeup, a defunded graduate student and political pressure from above have turned a storied program into a flashpoint for Trump-era campus politics.

When you represent a district larger than 8 states, you understand the importance of showing up in EVERY single community.
Excited to traverse Colorado’s 2nd district today — with visits to 3 counties, 5 cities, a town-hall (our 17th this year!) & a whole lot of coffee ☕️
Stay tuned!

This article broadly captures much of what is happening at Indiana University, but especially this: IU's Administration is not being honest about what it is doing to the Bloomington campus.
