Gotta say, XP was (imo) the best OS Microsoft ever made. Tons of excellent things about it, and a layout/UI that built off everything before it, so it was super easy to navigate. Props to ya!

Happy to recommend!
I love sharing the stuff I find with others who may appreciate/enjoy it!

Lastly, I'll recommend "Bubblegum Crisis 2040."
It's a futuristic action/crime-fighting/robot invasion story, that has the vibe of an anime/mecha "Charlie's Angels" mixed with good storytelling, and more surrealistic elements as the show progresses. Excellent OST too!

Hope this helps! <3

I'll give you two more,
"The Irresponsible Captain Tylor" is a lovely one from '93, and is another more comical space opera style anime. It's a bit more story driven than Nadesico, but has a lovable cast, great themes, and sub-genre wise, has a bit of everything in it!

"Eureka Seven" on the other hand, falls basically into the same cat. as EVA. It's a show with a premise that seems kinda goofy (In this case, fighting mechas that surf the air with special boards) but ends up being a pretty intense tale with LOTS of character development & serious themes.

If you end up liking Neon Genesis, I highly recommend Martian Successor Nadesico, and Eureka Seven!

"Nadesico" is basically a half-serious, half-comedic take on the mecha/space opera genre. If you're watching the ADV dub of EVA, it's got (mostly) the same cast for Nadesico!

I kinda like the look/aesthetic of the salvaged film reels from episode 16. Leliel was such a weird and surreal angel, and had such a disquieting and uncomfortable aura to it. So the fact that that episode in particular looked/felt different than those around it, made it work to an advantage imo.

Goooood! Congratulations! It's hard to commit to, but it's something I've been working on as well! Water is so important to our bodies, and once you get in the habit of drinking more (even if not reaching the goal) you do start to notice a positive change overall!

Like, we're watching actors and comedians age in HD now, whereas older clips of celebrities in their youth, used to be in 4:3 framing, with 480 resolution at best. We're now seeing people age 20 years in HD, and it's really strange to me. Anyone else find this different?
