There is a such a thing as objective truth. Defend truth and our public institutions. #CovidCautious. Lawyer & mum.
What’s terribly sad is, looking at 2021 and 2022, we know what to do to prevent these deaths, but it’s what, too hard or too inconvenient? Children are dying preventable deaths. 💔 their families.

Not supporting overcharging, but something doesn’t add up - comp totals $380mil, less $41m legals and $57m finance - if plaintiffs only getting $10-14k each, then there must be 20,000+ plaintiffs. Even if no costs, $380m / 20,000, only $19k each. Did I add wrong? Govt should have compensated more.

The “coughs/hr” label is misleading — it looks like a relative index (0–1) showing how much coughing was detected regionally compared to historical norms. More like a cough percentile, not a real per-hour rate.

Unfortunately not only in Tasmania. Recall Carmody in Qld. Judicial appointments must be apolitical. The US is a cautionary tale. One can only wonder what possessed them to make such a curious appointment, but it should be subject to serious scrutiny.

How do you selectively mask when transmission is asymptomatic? Not sure it's the dating app that's the problem rather the logic skills of the end user.

And we can be pretty confident that 2023 and 2024 are undercounts due to reduced testing.
