Buddy, Trump posted a racist video of Schumer and Jeffries and had "trump 27" hates ON THE OVAL OFFICE desk when they met.
They do not respect or fear him at all.
They jackals accurately assess him as a meal

Consider that McConnell in the was considered a liberal bogeyman prior to 2014 bc of how he obstructed Obama in minority and made life difficult for him every chance he got. No way that MAGA views Schumer this way, as a real obstacle to their larger agenda

It is, but it’s incorrect to say McConnell had a majority when he really only had minitority under a democratic president.
That’s the lesson people are asking Democrats to learn.
How to be effective in minority.
Which McConnell was and why people are talking about it

Yeah, it's hard to argue that Democrats are small d democrats sometimes. It's really corruption vs authoritarianism. That's the choice.

Schumer’s record since 2017 is frankly embarrassing and never reflects any sense that he is afraid of losing his position

If we don’t toss him now, what is even the point? The left has as little power as possible while still existing. If leadership doesn’t take responsibility for it, then we are indeed fully cooked. The election made the desire for new leadership pretty dang evident.

Not just Schumer. The Dem party refuses to listen to what voters are saying about *them*.

The Dem version of this would be a candidate who defied conventional wisdom about what Black primary voters support and yet still overwhelmingly won those voters.

If I could have my way, voters could directly elect the Speaker and the majority and minority leaders.

Schumer talked about a Dem strategy of driving down Trump’s approval rating. Schumer’s is likely lower but it doesn’t change how he operates.
