I probably could have made myself clearer. Using the BG for things like commuting with or without kids is a great use of the trail. Using it for training, especially during peak usage, is unwise and potentially dangerous. If that's your goal, the wise move is to find an alternative.

Agreed. Adding on to this. Weekdays and winter days riding the BG there are few other users and it can be glorious. On the weekends and summer days, the nickname, Berserk Gilman, applies. If you want to ride unimpeded on summer days and weekends, take to the road.
