It's worth it, you'll have to come back some day!

I also wonder about what will be left if/when MAGA devours itself. The Tea Party became this so where do they go now?

And for leftists, like myself, my question for you is how are you handling this? How are you treating the Trump supporters who might finally be waking up? This is an opportunity. And I get it, we've all probably sworn off those people, but consider extending the olive branch. This is a chance.

Furthermore, how long will you stay angry? Till midterms? Till after? The end of the Trump presidency? Or, will we all fall victim to the pointless culture wars and distractions that have been Trump's bread and butter since the beginning?

Because we have to remember what I already said: the systems in place will not save us from MAGA. Evidence: the way the information is being blocked. What I have to ask the people who are finally turning on Trump is how far are you willing to go? What will you do to see that list?

And if your movement relied heavily on conspiracy theory and fear mongering about the well-being of children, well... We see where we are now. So my question now is: is this actually the final straw? Because we can already see the attempts to bury, to obfuscate. Will this finally stick?

So like, just try it. Just get the little things you can do during the late afternoon and save your money and stress and just go to a show instead.

And like, I get it. I grew up lighting off my own fireworks every year. I so looked forward to the year I got to do my own artillery shells. The year I did, though? Frankly, disappointing. These days, I go to shows put on by local organizations, and they are so much better.

So all you end up doing is spending a few hundred dollars for maybe 15 minutes of fireworks that are not nearly as impressive as the local free show done by your chamber of commerce--which probably lasts twice as long. And meanwhile, you scare every dog, small child, and person with PTSD nearby.

Because here's the thing: you, by yourself, are never going to be able to put on as nice of a show as any free local show. You're just not. Sure, you can buy the pre-boxed ones but they won't be as big or last as long.
