(Just for 📌) I’m Plato & this is Beth (‘Human’). Her parents asked me to lend a paw back in 2009, when she was on treatment for bone cancer - Ewing’s, IYKYK. After that? We’d fought in the trenches so no separating us. She’s 32. NED 🎉 but had lots of complications & is chronically ill now🐻👩🏻🎗️✝️🙌

And the answer to the question, how many planets can you see by the naked eye outside Edinburgh Castle, even with the city’s light pollution is: most of them! Human had scampi under the planets with one of her besties & they’re both heading home cold & happy. We’ll see it again in 2040!

Our lovely cleaner has just appeared with daffodils to add to our tulips and the weather’s not (currently) as gloomy as forecast so we’ve an explosion of spring in the kitchen.

It’s midnight, and there’s already a thick frost, but where is Human? Outside, sitting on her auntie’s coal bunker (scene of many childhood games) staring at the moon, stars & planets whilst listening to a nearby stream flow, the lapping of the loch on the shore & the screeches of owls.

Off back to the West to Human’s aunties & uncles. Always a push to get away but it’ll be good. Waverley passanger assistance were as friendly & flawless as ever. Very thankful for them!
