i was shown Sonic Jam last night, so i got to behold a lot of this art for the very first time. immediately smitten with all the art in the game. i feel like a kid looking at this art on geocities, staring at them with wonder

i am once again doing mad experiments on my surface pro 2. i have never used arch before. i am still learning my way around and i'm not sure if i prefer it over debian-based distros yet, but: sure is fun to play around

there was an ikebana flower arrangement show this week, and i always love going to those. it was lovely. here's a few of my favorites
a flower arrangement: fluffy, dark red flowers have been carefully arranged in a tall, narrow deep blue vase. an arrangement of twisting, narrow branches emerge from the vase, towering over the flowers. flower arrangement: small, bright purple flowers - probably asters? - have been placed in a round grey vase, with a rough stone-like texture to it. long branches with very tiny flowers form a large arc around the purple flowers. flower arrangement: a short, narrow teal blue pot, holding light pink chrysanthemums. long, wispy light beige grasses frame the light pink flowers. flower arrangement: a blue and white vase in the shape of a cube, giving the illusion that it is balancing on one of its corners. deep red flowers are poking out of the topmost corner, along with two long, dried bamboo reeds that form the shape of a "V"
