For auto purchases, most of the big FIs do these through indirect programs - in those cases they can stop out in such a way that they essentially send a lowball counteroffer without having to report the non-completed counter offer as a denial

Preapproval arbitrage hides a lot of the denial rates for traditional FIs - they run almost all auto refis and credit cards through an on demand preapproval process prior to an app - those who don’t get preapproved never get into the application funnel and aren’t ever “denied”

Traegers are great smokers but I always recommend BGE if you want an upgrade. At least if you like steaks. Can’t beat a setup that can go at 250 for 20 hours or be cracked up to 850+ for a blue steak. If you don’t like steak then stick with the Traeger - less work.
