I can’t see how a government could have “values”that did not include respect for human rights and dignity. I think they’re talking about ideology rather than values.

From another perspective it was good to see the praise of Putin in full flight. Suddenly Putin was the victim who needed to be consoled.

I suspect they set up this sham attack in order to scuttle the minerals deal after they discovered how difficult it would be to rip off Ukraine.
