I had to look this up to make sure it was real.
There is a 10% reciprocal tax on Heard and McDonald Islands.
These are islands that form part of the Australian territory.
Heard Island in fact has Australia’s active volcano and tallest mountain.
Both islands …. are uninhabited lmao.

There was a good turnout yesterday at Sydney ABC presenter Simon Marnie’s final show at Government House. A popular weekend host, Simon’s contract is not being renewed in 2025 much to the consternation of his listeners.

I’ve picked up some followers though haven’t written anything. I think I should make an effort just to be sociable. I do however enjoy reading what others have to say. There is so much wisdom out there. I love that.
