Since this post took off I wanted to add more info about my experience that Viktor likely struggles with. Massive headaches. All the time. Viktor’s head probably never fully stops hurting. He also probably has a physio regimen (he does not do it and then gets in trouble)

I also have a theory that this part is to correct a difference in shoulder height. The more crooked your spine is the more uneven your hip and shoulders get. Interestingly that side is opposite to the side he favours for his cane when using properly which is the same for me

Also I can vouch for the fact that his time in the lab is probably so painful for him. Sitting can be very painful without brace support and even with it working for that long would almost certainly be extremely uncomfortable. I just know his nerve damage pain is wicked bad

Also I will definitely not be getting this surgery if I’m diagnosed because I haven’t issues in my upper spine so it would be much less likely to produce results and more dangerous
