Ex Public sector worker: ex nurse; ex English teacher. Loved both my careers. Politicised. Fed up with populism and the right wing take over. More courage is needed to stand together, organise and fight for the truth and our future. Free Palestine.

Absolutely, that’s why people associated with the BBC are saying this is a ‘coup’. Prescott is a friend of Gibb and was brought into look at bias but, apparently, he seems only bothered about perceived left wing bias. His report reflected this and was ‘leaked’ to the Telegraph. All a bit strange.

Schools themselves can sort the phone issue out. I worked at a school that had very small lockers in tutor rooms where pupils put their phones at start of day; they were locked and the phones returned at the end of the day. Anyone who didn’t put their phone in parents were called or bags checked.

This isn’t “balance”.

Iterations of this meme keeps doing the rounds for a reason - it’s because the press keep doing this!

Stop it!

This is precisely the kind of government coercion that the First Amendment was designed to prevent — and media companies need to start standing up rather than capitulating to it.

They are buying into their self created idea that they are not racist and are not right. I agree, no excuses, we need to look at it with clear eyes, call it out and organise against it. They seem financed by big money, well organised and using new methods to get their racism across. We must match it

We, ordinary people, were paying Clarkson when he punched a bloke who was as working with him, in the face for not bringing him a sandwich, as he had demanded.

If there is one thing Starmer is an expert on, it is the law. Connolly will get burned by all this attention eventually. Zero sympathy from me.
