Here's how to support your neighbors who work at Kings:

I will also add (somewhat tangentially but let's be real, not really) that whoever wrote this headline (I cropped out the author bc they don't write headlines AFAIK) about a non-fire climate story should be ASHAMED.

Walked 10 min from the Marquis to the farthest corner of the convention center to find the plenary with Gov Inslee and I'm continually floored with how big this conference is despite it being my like, 5th or 6th #AGU24. How big do you think these screens are, my god

A purple name tag says Tsuki, because she is named after the moon (Tsuki is Japanese for moon). The photographer was much later informed by a Russian friend that the same name apparently means "bitches" in Russian, which is hilarious.

Happy halloween from the Witches Broom Nebula from Sommers-Bausch Observatory last night! came out way too green after I fussed with the levels, lol oh well #Astrophotography
the Witches broom nebula on a star field. it is very long and wispy and looks a little like the shape of an archery bow or a curly brace. at the peak of the bow is a very bright star. the whole image has a green cast.
