Game execs want the biggest checks out there, so go for Avatar 3 scale or go broke? But maybe there can only be so many of those around at once, while the mid range gets underfunded? 🤷♀️🤷

I didn't like 2 or 3 but they were successful. All the increase in budget and scope since has raised risks for developers, but I'm not sure it's made such games much "better"?
