Open a Halifax-based medical clinic to treat menopause symptoms, with an estimated setup cost of $4 million and $2.4 million per year for operations. 6. Establish a 30-member provincial travel nurse team to address nursing shortages, as part of a $6.3 million pilot program beginning at the end of 2024. 7. A free space labeled “FREE! DO ANYTHING TO ADDRESS EPIDEMIC OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE. “. 8. Launches a universal shingles vaccine program for people 65 and older. 9. Make parking free at all Nova Scotia hospitals and health care centres, costing $8 million. 10. Impose a cap on electricity rate increases, based on average rates hike s across the country. 11. Reduce the small business tax rate from 2.5% to 1.5% and increase small business tax threshold to $700,000 from $500,000. 12. Reduce the minimum down payment requirement for first-time home buyers on home s costing $500,000 or less from 5% to 2% under a loan program managed by local credit unions.
