At a certain point you just look at everything happening and have to decide to walk away for a bit. You might call it running, and people warn you against that sort of thing. However it puts things in perspective, you get hair brain ideas. When you leave, you know what you miss and what you don't.

Life was pretty tough last year. I had a huge mental breakdown due to a poor reaction to anxiety medication. This episode was just the beginning of months and months of "tough breaks". A family member passing, finding black mold in our home, health problems, and existential uncertainty.
