Deep in the woods of Michigan's U.P., silence falls upon this pond. The emerald surface is glass, the sandy floor churning from rushing spring water. I've been told to keep the location secret, so you'll have to guess where this is 🙂

Here is one of my favorite photos i took last year. We were on an "I need to get out of here" road trip around Lake Michigan last July. This is down the beach from Grand Traverse Lighthouse outside of Traverse City. Sometimes you just need to walk away for a bit.
