I read that essay. She didn’t cite the Bible academically, with chapter and verse, you know, an actual citation. It was all god says this, god planned that, god wants whatever.

She really needs to learn to control her smirk. She smirks when she’s lying. It’s such a tell.

There was nothing wrong with the tent. For the rare events that included large numbers of attendees, the tent was fine as long as the weather was nice. No need for a large tacky ballroom.

Also “giving” Medicaid to “illegals” isn’t a thing. Medicaid pays the hospitals when uninsured or indigent people need emergency care, including undocumented immigrants. Not a dime goes into the patient’s pocket.

I’m sure I have that in a box somewhere.

In the 80’s my then-boyfriend rented a room from an elderly lady. It benefited both of them, he got affordable housing in a HCOL area and she had someone who could help with stuff around the house. This isn’t new.

Twenty-five or so years ago, friends gave us a Black & Decker Lids Off machine to open jars. I had carpal tunnel and my husband had nerve damage to his hands from a spinal cord tumor. We still use it. Best gift ever.

It make more sense if you understand that they want to eliminate girls sports altogether. They know parents won’t let their daughters try out for teams if they will be groped as a condition of participation. Not enough girls participating? Cut the programs and use all the money for the boys.
