I could only find data going back to 1962, so you don't get to see the fully baby boom. Still cool though.
A chart showing a "heatmap" of fertility rates for Aotearoa New Zealand from 1962 to 2024. The chart has a "hotspot" of high fertitily rates (~30% at the highest) in the early 60s. Over time, this hotspot reduces and the age group with the highest fertily rates moves from the 20s towards the 30s.

Trying out muted words and having a quite a nice time.

The UX of seeing the post and _then_ being able to decide whether you want to see it is really cool. Honestly haven't felt the need to see any of them yet 😤👌

I've spent the past few days polishing up an old #DataViz project ✨ It visualizes the amount of daylight for a given date and location☀️

Besides being prettier, it also updates the location you've selected in the URL, so you can share a link to a specific place 🌏
