Had a lovely day exploring new materials and techniques in a sketchbook workshop today. Was a delightful way to have a bit of time for me, even better that it was a gift.

Had the watercolour pencils and my pens out again recently making this festive robin as a christmas gift. Birds seem to come out quite well, nice to spend some time in creative mode

Design Leadership Chronicles by Marzia Aricò landed this weekend. Very relatable and love the graphic novel format. The first three stories are all incredibly relevant to me at the moment.

Was a tennis-filled weekend. I won a minor trophy at our club championships on Saturday then watched Jack Draper smash his racket up in rage at the Davis Cup in Manchester on Sunday 😆🎾

9 hour shift yesterday on the infrastructure of The Lost Gardens of Shelligan, new home for our two junior tortoises. Roof felt needs finishing, but it’s heated and insulated and cosy. Listened to @loudowne.bsky.social and @rufflemuffin.bsky.social Dead Ends podcast as I worked - vernacular!

In our old office we had a little library. We’ve moved and we’re now a more remote team, so I’ve just made a quick prototype in Microsoft lists to enable the team to get inspired and trade interesting content with each other
