The Weapon of Vengeance ("Hellverine") stands atop a skyscraper with a quartet of Hand ninjas at its back. "I didn't know I had so many friends..." the demonic spirit observes. Backed to the skyscraper's edge, Daredevil and Stick ("played" here by an action figure of Donnie Yen from John Wick 4) take a moment to assess the situation. "I think we're officially outnumbered," Stick says. "Isn't that when it's most important to focus up?" Daredevil asks.

Daredevil's radar sense screams at him as he narrates: "I REFLEXIVELY RETREAT TO THE CITY'S ROOFTOPS. I'M UNTOUCHABLE HERE." His flaming claws causing the nearby air to ripple, Hellverine implores Daredevil to, "Savor vengeance..." Hellverine continues to wax philosophical on the subject of vengeance: "..WHETHER AS A SOLO MEAL, OR A BANQUET, YOU MUST INHALE THE VAPORS, LUXURIATE IN ITS RADIANT HEAT, UNTIL THE MOMENT IS PERFECT." Lightning flashes and thunder booms, leaving the approaching Hand ninjas in silhouette.
