My period is a week late and I have to say goodbye to my cat tomorrow morning, what a perfect birthday weekend.

I'm going to see #CriticalRole live in my home city on Wednesday, so today I've been playing with beads to make trinkets for my fellow #Critters! I've drifted a bit lately but been a fan for 9 (NEIN!) years so I'm very excited for it.

I've got a cold and Bandit is in what my friend calls "guard mode", where he stretches out next to me on the bed, between me and the door. Honestly I think he just enjoys leeching off the warmth of my fever. 😂

Not quite 3 months since adopting Bandit, and he's really starting to trust me and open up. He likes to flop next to me and put his head down on my arm, it is so sweet and cute. And he even let me brush him without bribes yesterday!
Getting to know him is frustrating at times but so worth it.

Bandit has now been here for a week and is settling in well. He likes to spend the day under the bed and the night on top of it. Every now and then he comes over for pats, but then goes back to doing his own thing. And he loves fish but turns his nose up at chicken, which is a first for me!

I still miss Pippin, I can't even say his name without getting a lump in my throat.

But I said if the right cat came along I wouldn't say no. So there is a cat in my life again, and I'm content. It was weird not having a feline companion.

Indulged in the "dinosaurs are super cool" side of the 'tism today. Because dinosaurs *are* super cool.
